1903 (Aug 20): Picture postcard to France depicting a 'Siamese band', bearing on the picture side King Chulalongkoen 1 a. green, tied by small "CHANTABOURI 20.08.03" cds, it shows in addition an unusual negative seal. Text written on January 25, 1904, additional 3 a. adhesive added on the address side, tied by large bilingual CHANTABURI cds (Jan 25, 1904), sent to France, found to be underpaid by '3½' (c.) as noted in blue crayon, both Siamese and Frech 'T' in traingle handstamps applied. Upon arrival in Dompaire French Postage Dues 5 c. blue and 1 c. black in a horizontal pair were added and tied. Battambang Provisional 1902 (Aug 31): 10 a. on 12 a. brown-purple & carmine, Type-written surcharge in violet, a fine used example with some original paper adherence on reverse, large part "Battambang" cds (1902) in black. 1883/1985: Small mint and used collection with some duplicates housed in a folder and five stockbooks. There is also a section of over 70 covers and pieces of postal stationery. The lot contains some postmark interest, as well as larger blocks of the provisional issues 1894 allowing for plating study.
