    1798/1802ca.: Colonial front and large part back of folded cover to Guatemala rated '8' in manuscript, struck with fancy framed "MASAYA" handstamp in brown. Exceptional for this (Harris fig. 52 (but not seeen) / Tizón fig. 1 = RRR). The watermarked paper shows a horse and rider. Slight bend or two but very rare so well struck.

    1800/19ca.: Covers (2) and a front from Granada, with cover to Guatemala struck with framed "GRA /NADA" handstamp in brown (Harris fig. 21 / Tizón fig. 1), cover front to Leon with superb straight line and stars "*GRANADA*" handstamp in brown and rated at 10 reales (Harris fig. 22 = 5 pts. / Tizón fig. 2 = RR) and cover and large part back to Guatemala struck with fine framed "Franqueado / en Granada" in brown (Harris fig. 23 = 6 pts. / Tizón 4 = RRR). A scarce group.

    1801/1818ca.: Covers or cover fronts all from Leon to Guatemala, with 1801 cover struck with rectangular framed "LEON" struck in red (Harris 32 = 10 pts. / Tizón fig. 2 = RRR), two covers with same handstamp struck in blue (one with 17 reales rate) and both fine; 1818ca. front with framed "Franqueado / en Leon" in deep blue (Harris 37 = unrecorded / Tizón fig. 5 = RRR). A scarce group.
