    1851: 40 c. rose, torn not cut, touched at right otherwise with fair to good margins, tied by mute obliterator to Entire letter directed to Poschiavo / Puschlav in Grisons, Switzerland with "P.D." in red and "TORINO 19 MAR 53 2 S" despatch cds in black alongside. Reverse with Chur transit and POSCHIAVO arrival cds's (March 26). A fine cover, the sender left contradictionary routing instructions with 'per Brusio', i.e. via Austrian Lombardy and the Valtellina/Veltlin reaching the Puschlav from the South as well as 'Via di Bellinzona', i.e. via the St. Bernadino, Chur & Engadin reaching the Puschlav from the north, the way finally chosen. Sassone = € 32'500.

    1855/62: Cancellations of the Lombardy used on Sardegna 20 c. blue, Lot 76 covers showing various cancellation types in black, nearly all different and with clear strikes from ADRO to VIADANA, incl. two line date stamps from APPIANO, CANNETO, CARAVAGGIO (9p.) OGGINO, SONCINO (4) and TREVIGLIO (2) as well as cds's of  CASALBUTTANO, MACCAGNO (2), MONTICELLO, MONTIICHIARI and SERENGO, most of the items signed or joined by seven certificats of E.     1863/71 Venetian cancellations used on 1863/65 Kingdom issues, collection 175 covers showing various cancellations and types in black, neraly all different, noteworthy clear strikes from ADRIA to VILLAFRANCA, with usages of numeral obliterations also in combination with date stamps, incl. numeral '2609' of ILLASI (5), fine strike of 'Austrian' LOREO cds (2), MANTOVA (2) with 22/10 1866 usage (the earliest date known - Sass 13 p.), MASSA (4), MOGLIANO cds. without date in blue (2), NOALE, PONTE de S.H.MADDALENA ((5), PORDENONE two line d.s., SERMIDE (5), VERONA POSTE S.F. as well as VICENZA cds.
