Used Abroad 1856/64: India 8 a. carmine on white paper, a used example on 1864 cover to Winterthur, Switzerland endorsed 'via Marseille', tied by fine "124" numeral obliterator in black. Framed "INDIA PAID" in red adjacent and reverse with "ADEN STEAMER POINT" cds in black (Aug 10) and notation that the letter was written aboard the "Mooltan", alongside "Bureau Francais Bale" cds (Aug 28). 1854/1965: Mainly used collection India housed in a preprinted album and seven stockbooks, with 1854 ½ a. blue used (2), 1 a. red (with B/172 Singapore numeral), 4 Annas cut round, a fine four margin two Annas and a range of other QV issues. KEVII to 15 Rupees used. Feudatory states contain three 1915/16 marginal Bundi "cows" and Datia three fine used values. 1877/1980: Collection in two large folders containing approximately 400 covers, letters and postcards of India and Bangladesh.
