    1878: 2 c. red-brown on buff, first postal stationery card (H&G 1), used examples (3), with 1885 usage Leon to Corinto cancelled by scarce oval "7/L" in black; 1883 usage within Managua cancelled by 'Managua' cds (July 25) in blue and fine oval "6/M" in black; and 1889 usage to Corinto cancelled by circular BUZON AMBULANTE / CORINTO, NICARAGUA datestamp in violet (Oct 4). A rare trio.

    1891: Seebeck 1 c. yellow brown, 2 c. red pair and single 5 c. blue used on 1892 cover from the 'Nicaragua Canal Construction Co.' to Berlin tied by "San Juan del Norte" datestamps (June 2) in violet. Reverse with 'Foreign NY Transit' and Berlin arrival (June 20). Some peripheral aging but a scarce commercial usage.

    1896: Map Issue 2 c. blue-green, a single example used on 1897 Printed Matter unsealed rate cover to Paris, contents being a New Year's greeting card, tied by oval framed "Managua" despatch datestamp (Dec 20) in violet. Unusual and most attractive.

    1905 (July 25): Definitive issue, the set of Large Format sunken Die Proofs (13) by the American Banknote Co., in issued colours from 1 c. green to 5 peso violet, engraved in cards (most 156 x 194 mm. but one larger), with file numbers 'C-592/C-604' at base with ABN imprint below design and pencil noted docket numbers at base, fresh and very fine complete set. Rare and most attractive Gi 206/218.

Bluefields arrival cds in violet (Sept 4) also on front of a scarce cover.
