    1762 (Nov 1): Entire letter to Brussels struck with fair GRAMOUT straight line despatch handstamp in black, rated '2' in manuscript to pay, with inside of entire showing four numbered (7-0, 7-2, 7-3 and 8-2) linen cloth samples presumably indicating the weave. An unusual entire.

    1855 (Sept 30): Entire letter written by a shop-keeper at the 'Ville de Paris' on the Nevsky Prospect in St. Petersburg, Russia to Sentier, Switzerland, carried privately from Russia during the Crimean War and mailed, unpaid from Belgium with LIEGE datestamp in red-brown (Oct 20). Reverse with Sentier arrival (Oct 24) and charged '40' rappen due in red manuscript. A most unusual and interesting forwarded usage.

    1849/1990: Collection Belgium, classics mainly used and later predominantly mint in two Albums beginning with a delightful 10 Centimes Epaulette on piece with Bar canceller 20 and red Bouillon town canceller crisply struck next to the stamp. There are further good quality classic stamps such as a 40 Cents medaillon with first watermark Mi 5A, signed Diena. Later 5 Fr used Mi. 34, Tuberculosis 1911 mint, miniature sheets Mi. 2-5, including Mi.3 in unmounted. Later a good run into the modern era, with a handful back of the book items.

Cardinal Mercier, souvenir sheets. full counter sheets, booklets, railway stamps, postage dues and more, housed in three KABE albums, in addition eight volumes containing modrrn FDS's and other products by the new issues department, all arranged in a large removal box.

    War of the Austrian Succession (1741-1748): Group of five entire lettersheets, incl. fine clear strike of  framed MONS negativ handstamps (2),  FURNES h.s. on 1745 military letter taxed with 13 Sols sent via Paris to Lyon, ARM: DU RHIN on 1745 letter at 10 Sous rate to Lyon, GAND single line on 1746 letter to Lille (F), All fine with full text transcription included.
