    1899: Postcard franked by Egypt 2 m. green (Gi 59) pair tied by 'Port Said' cds's (Dec 21) addressed to Tientsin, China. Readdressed on arrival to Taku Forts with 1898/1900 Coiling Dragon 1 c. orange tied by bold TIENTSIN cds (Jan 30, 1900) in black. Card with minor corner bend but a scarce and most attractive usage.

    1900: Coiling Dragon 10 c. green used on 1901 cover to Prague, tied by oval framed PEKING datestamp (Aug 2) in black with France 'Chine' 25 c. black on rose tied by 'Shang-Hai / Chine' cds (Aug 12) with repeated information strike alongside. Reverse with Chinese P.O. in Shanghai cds. An attractive combination cover.

    1907 (July 8): Registered picture postcard from Peking to Vienna bearing Dragon definitives 2 c. red in a vert. pair tied by bilingual PEKING cds's, and 10 c. green, tied by bilingual SHANGHAI cds (July 13, 1907), registration handstamp, octogonal French "YOKOHAMA A MARSEILLE 19 JUIL 07" shipmail datestamp and Vienna arrival cds (21 VIII 07) alongside.     1878/1965c.: Collection with 1878/83 Large Dragons 1 ca. green unused and used, 3 ca. used (3, one wide Setting) and 5 ca. yellow used (2, one with part 'Customs / Chungking' cds, the other with fault showing part German arrival cds); 1894 Dowager 1 ca., 3 ca., 4 ca. 5 ca., 9 ca., 24 ca. unused; 1897 optd. Small Dragons used, 1897 Red Revenue 1 c. on 3 c. unused, Coiling Dragons with large range used with cancellation interest, SYS issues, provinces and some locals noted.

    1927/29: Group of covers (4) all to Chemnitz, Germany with Manchuria optd. 1927 2 c. green used from Harbin carried at Printed Matter rate, and two further coivers from Harbin carried at 10 c. rates - these last with 'via Russia CCCP' at upper right, together with 1929 cover from Tientsin franked by 1929 Burial of Sun-Yat sen 10 c. blue.

    1919/1948: Group of eleven commercial covers, incl. two registered usages from Beijing to London (1923) franked with 'Temple of Heaven' 1 c. to 10 c., three covers to USA of which two censored, further two envelopes franked with 1939 '150th Anniv. of US Constitution' registered cover from "Fortbayard 2.8.38" (French Indochina) franked with Exhibition miniature sheet of Kouang-Tchéou 1937 and 148 Incoming mail from Canada as well as three domestic usages togheter with some loose stamps on stockcards.

    S. S. TIROL 1902 (July 21): China Coiling Dragon 2 c. red used on postcard from Shanghai to Bombay, short paid and struck with French P.O. Shanghai cds (July 24) with "T" mark adjacent, carried on the 'Tirol' with oval framed LLOYD AUSTRIACO / PIROSCAFO / TIROL cachet in blue at left - Tchilinghirian 'No examples are known to the authors'. Bombay and Tutucorin arrivals and marked due 2 cents. Unique.
