    1818 (Oct 6): Entire letter from Havana to Bordeaux, most unusually mailed via Belgium, with manuscript Forwarding Agent on reverse "De Lapart du Ob. Bifanos Barterjns / Anvers 9 Xbre" (Dec 9) in manuscript. Mailed on with ANTWERPEN straight line in red and Rayon marking via Valenciennes to Bordeaux where charged '15' décimes due.

    1840 (July 29): Entire letter from Santaigo de Cuba to Bordeaux, struck on despatch with superb fancy framed CUBA oval handstamp in black, carried on British Packet with framed "Packet Letter" on obverse in red. Reverse with London transit cds (Oct 25) in red and rated '3/2d.' in manuscript. Bordeaux cds on reverse where rated '66' décimes to pay. A fine and rare entire.

MEIER in black, slightly aided in pencil but rare. Reverse with 'Schiffs Brief Post / Hamburg' arrival (Aug 1) in black and rated '12¾' (ggr.) to pay. A rare entire.

    1871/75: France Cérès 325 c. blue in a strip of four, used on 1873 cover from Havana to Cognac, France tied by dotted Anchor lozenge with octagonal CUBA Consular datestamp alongside (Aug 20) in black (Salles fig. 1364). Reverse with circular LIGNE B / PAQ. FR. No. 2 datestamp (Aug 26) in black (Salles fig. 1431) and carried on the 'Louisiane'. Trimmed at base and slight imperfections but a scarce and attractive cover.

    1860: 'Y¼' on 1857 2 r. rose-red, the superb unused block of six, Types G-A-A / A-A-A, with first stamp showing '1' in '¼' inverted, trace of diagonal crease at top otherwise fresh and very fine with good margins all round for a multiple of this stamp, unused without gum.     1930 (March 15): Second Central American Games, the set of five Die Proofs for the issued values from 1 c. to 20 c., all printed in black by the Impresora de Cuba (engraved initially by the Security Banknote Co. in Philadelphia), the lower three values being individual Dies, the 10 c. and 20 c. being composite, three with file numbers and year date at base in black, each overprinted CANCELLED in violet and adhered to card for protection. Unique.

A scarce set in multiples - the issue was on sale for three days only and thereafter withdrawn.
