"Specimen" overprint vertically on 1 d., 3 d., 6 d., 1 s., 2 s. 6 d., 3 s., 5 s., 7 s. 6 d., 10 s. and 15 s.; horizontally written on £ 1, £ 1 10 s., £ 5, £ 10, £ 25, £ 50 and £ 100 values, all fresh and very fine, all with large part og.     1854/1912: The unused collection on leaves with imperforate 1854 1 d. black and 4 d. blue, 1855 1 s. pale brown, 1857 2 d. brown-red variety 'Printed Both Sides' but repaired (cert.), 6 d. black with fair margins for this rarity (cert.), 1860/64 4 d. blue, 6 d. sage, 1861/90 issues with good range from 1 d. to 1 s., 1885/93 definitives unused and five values with SPECIMEN. Condition obviously varies but a valuable and scarce group.

    1854/1912: The used collection on leaves with imperforate 1854 1 d. black and 4 d. blue, 1855 1 s. pale brown with bold "2" numeral obliterator, 1857 2 d. brown on red, 6 d. grey-black,  1860/64 imperf. 2 d. orange, rare 4 d. blue (cert.) and 6 d. sage, thereafter largely complete incl. 1893 Postal Fiscals 1 d. dull purple - 2 s. 6 d. dull purple (this last postally used, with cert.), Telegraph stamps etc. Condition varies but a scarce lot.

    Lake Lefroy Goldfield Bicycle Service 1897 (April): Lithographed at the 'Coolgardie Miner & Pioneer' Printing Office, Lake Lefroy Goldfield 6 d. rose-red on paper with green reverse, perf. 12, a fine unused example with minor thin spots not affecting the appearance. A rare Local issue in much above average quality: this example was acquired from the decendants of a Canadian prospector in 2012, having remained with the family for 116 years. Cert. Ceremuga (2012).rnrnNote: The service ran from Lake Lefroy to Coolgardie, a distance of 45 miles, Kalgoorlie and other local Goldfield camps. It was finally closed down in June 1897 when the Government mailcoach service commenced to Red Hill. The stamps were printed by the photo-zinc process in sheetlets of four stamps arranged vertically tête-bêche.

    Coolgardie Cycle Express 1895/96: The James Healy first issue 1 s. and 2 s. 6d. blue and the second issue bicoloured set of three, applied to reverse of James A. Healy advertising card for the delivery service, with a full list of names of the cyclist's performing the deliveries and the Mining sites they would deliver to from Coolgardie. Slight faults to advertising side but extremely rare and most unusual.

    Coolgardie Cycle Express 1895/96: The James Healy 1 s. blue used on 1896 cover addressed to Sydney, tied by "Per COOLGARDIE CYCLE EXPRESS CO., / HUNT STREET" in violet and by fine NORSEMAN / WA circular datestamp (Sept 29) in black. The cover has had the Western Australia adhesives removed (probably four Swan ½ d. values), and is struck on reverse with 'Esperanza / WA' cds (Oct 4) and Sydney arrival cds (Oct 15) in black. Oldham, Surveyor in Coolgardie, forwarded on to Mount Margaret with notation "Per Healy's Cycle Ex." at upper left, tied by "Per COOLGARDIE CYCLE EXPRESS CO., / HUNT STREET" in violet.
