    1844: Entire letter from Port Louis to Bordeaux struck with fine circular MAURITIUS / POST OFFICE cds in black (Oct 17), endorsed 'via England, p. Lysander', with London transit cds in red (Jan 15, 1845) and straight line SHIP LETTER in black on reverse, struck there with framed "COLONIES / &c. ART 12' in red with British manuscript charge 1/4d.' in ink. Rate altered from double to triple on arrival in France and charged '55' décimes due in manuscript.

    1848 (June): 1 d. orange-vermilion, early impression, position 12 on the sheet of 12, cancelled by fine strike of the scarce intaglio "3" in bars obliterator of Souillac in black, of fine frontal appearance but repaired and re-backed. An excellent space-filler. Cert. H. Richter (1996, as genuine). Correct cert. BPA (2019) as described Gi = £ 7'000.

    1848: The "Hiroyuki Kanai" original album pages with the Sherwin Issue reprints of the 2 d. plate of twelve (3 x 4) defaced by vertical lines in black, a further reprint of the Sherwin complete plate on large card similarly defaced, together with a reprint of the 1 d. sheet of twelve defaced in black, together with the famous advertisement for he 'Grand Hotel D'Euope' on the reverse of the 2 d. plate. A scarce group of five items.
