    Italian Post Office 1915: Italy 5 c. green pair and 15 c. bluish-slate (2) used on reverse of registered cover from Peking to Spezia, tied by circular DISTACCAMENTO R. MARINA ITALIANA IN CINA datestamps (May 29) in violet. Further fine strike on obverse with regsitration handstamp in same ink, with Spezia arrival cds (July 13) on reverse. A rare registered usage and would benefit by being opened for display. Signed Sorani.

    1941 (Jan/May): Sun Yat-Sen 1 c. orange buff or paleyellow buff postal stationery cards (2), used from Shanghai to a Jewish resident in Vienna via Siberia, each up-rated with SYS 15 c. red pair or single 30 c. tied by dotted 'Shanghai' despatch cds's with circular German Censors in red applied on arrival. A scarce and most attractive pair. Risa Bernstein (born 1870, believed to have perished in Theresienstadt).
