    Holyland 1869: Postage Due 2 pi. brown perf. 13¼, a quadrisected usage on small piece for ½ pi. tied by Jaffa double-box handstamp (Coles & Walker 135) in blue. There are believed to be just two items with quadrisected stamps known from the Holyland.

    Danube & Black Sea Line of Steamers 1869: Journal Stamp 10 pa. opt. in red on 10 pa. black, perf. 12½, a fine unused example, together with 1870 10 pa. in red on black on blued wove paper surcharged LETTER in red, in a sheet marginal strip of three from base of sheet (between positions 82-90), minor bend, fresh and fine unused. Scarce Mi = € 285+.

Sower pair and two blocks of four and a range of postcards of P.O.'s etc.

    1840/52c.: The collection of "Tartar Post" postal relay forms (184), each form stuck on despatch and receipt with Type 1 Ottoman handstamp "An janib..." negative seal with wreath at base, each form detailing route times and amount of post carried, with negative handstamps from Adana, Amasya, Aydin, Bursa, Deraliye, Diyarbekir, Edirne, Egin, Erzerum, Filibe, Harput, Isparta, Izmir, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kone, Kutahya, Nigde, Sam, Samsun, Serres, Sivas, Sofia, Trabzon, Yanya And Yenisehir and receipted arrival handstamps of the above named towns and also: Aleppo, Ankara, Baghdad,  Bosna, Iskodra, Manastir, Nis, Sumnu, Tirnova, Uskub, Varna, and Vidin. A marvellous lot.
