    Local Posts 1894/99: Range on stockcards with fine used Ichang 1894/95 ½ ca. brown (2), 2 ca. violet, 5 ca. venetian red, 1 m. deep green, 15 ca, blue and 3 m. vermilion, all cancelled by 'Ichang' Dollar Chops in brown; 1896 Ichang 2 ca. on 3 m. vermilion used examples (5) incl. overprint varieties, Chunking 1894 set of five used, various Kewkiang etc. An interesting and scarce gruoup.

    1922/23: Covers (6), all addressed to Austria bearing Junk issue frankings, with fine registered cover from Tsingtau bearing 1914/19 1st Peking 1½ c. violet (3) with 1923/33 2nd Peking ½ c. (3), 1 c. (3), 3 c. and pair of 4 c. all tied by 'Tsingtau' cds's via Harbin; rare but somewhat crumpled 'Sample Mail' cover franked by 2nd Peking 1 c. and 3 c., three further covers at 10 c. rates.

    1929/30: Covers (3) all from Switzerland to Foochow, China franked at 30 c. rate, the addressee not found and each cover handstamped with bilingual 'ADDRESSEE LEFT' and 'RETURN TO SENDER' handstamps in black, two returned via Hong Kong, one cover with DEAD LETTER OFFICE / SINGAPORE in red. A most unusual trio which would benefit by being opened for Exhibit display.
