    1846 (July 5): Entire letter written on board the British Brig 'Siren' off Malta to Carlskrona, Sweden by Swedish Officer serving with British Fleet (see contents), struck on reverse with fine oval CONSUL R. SVEC: ET NORV: MELITAE in black. Thence via Marseille (July 12) with entry marking in red, Hamburg Thurn & Taxis P.O. (July 17) and Stralsund with straight line handstamp in black. A fine and unusal entire that opens well for display.

    1859/76: Group of covers (7), all franked by Great Britain adhesives used in Malta with 1856 6 d. lilac on mourning cover to London, 1859 3 d. rate to Messina, 1862 cover with pair of 2 d. blue pl. 9 used to Naples with manuscript '1¼' split rate, 1867 and 1872 covers with 4 d. vermilion pl. 8 or 12 used to Genova each with handstamped '2¾' split rate mark in red, 1872 cover front to Neuchatel with 1867 3 d. rose pl. 8 pair with very scarce framed 'P.D. / 4¾' split rate mark in red.
