1853: 20 c. deep blue, used in combination with 40 c. orange (four fine examples), on 1858 double rate cover from Smyrne to Geneva, tied by '3709' petit chiffres with 'Smyrne / Turquie' French P.O. datestamp alongside (March 23). Framed 'PD' in black at left and reverse with Geneva arrival cds (April 1). A fine and most appealing cover.
