    Karnobat - Karinabad 1848: Entire letter from Karnobat to Istanbul (the Ottoman Post in Karnobat had a Postal Relay station at this date, mail from Karnobat was cancelled at the arrival office), struck on arrival with all Arabic negative 'An Canib-i posta Deraliye 257' seal in greenish black (Coles & Walker fig. 7). 'Karinabad' notation in Arabic at upper left and weight 3 dirhem / postage 4 piastres 10 para also in manuscript.
