    Type 8. 1898: India ¼ anna brown postal stationery card used from Aden to Belgaum cancelled by 'Aden' squared circle datestamp (April 2). Struck with SEA POST OFFICE / A datestamp (April 6) in black and carried on the 'Clyde' arriving Bombay April 10. Belgaum arrival cds (April 12). Fascinating message on the reverse '...P & O 'China' is wrecked on Perim'. The wrecked 'China' was replaced on the journey to Brindisi by the 'Carthage'. Creased but an unusual card.
