    1856: Guanajuato 2 r. green, vertically bisected example used on piece, sub-consigned and tied by circle of dots handstamp of Leon de los Aldamas (Schatzkes fig. 501) and by oval LEON DE LOS ALDAMAS datestamp (fig. 500) in black. Rare and fine with just seven examples of this usage recorded from Leon. Cert. Jaretzsky (1989).
