    1939/40: Five values of the 'Provisional' surcharged set from 40 c. up to 3.70 l., arranged on three registered envelopes to the same address in Erstfeld/Uri/Switzerland, neatly cancelled "Cita del Vaticano 1. 9.39", "17. 11. 39" and  "9. 1. 40", all three covers bearing arrival postmark on reverse, a very rare offer with 'Provisionals' on cover" Sassone = EUR 6'100++.
