    1 d. vermilion, used example on 1866 cover to Genova, Italy tied by 'Lima-M' datestamp (April 27), struck on front with PANAMA / TRANSIT in black and transferred to French Paquebot at Colon with circular LIGNE A / PAQ. FR. No. 3 datestamp in black (Salles 1401) dated May 1 and carried on the 'Louisiane'. Reverse with British P.O. Callao transit and Genova arrival (May 26) in red and charged at double rate '28' in manuscript (2 lire 80 centesemi). Some aging but scarce.
