    1869 (May 14): Entire letter franked by 1867 1 pi. red tied by scarce REGIE POSTE EGIZIANE / CAIRO cds, with corresponding REGIE cds of Alexandria displaying well on reverse. Franked in Alexandria with Italy 1863 40 c. red tied by '234' numeral obliterator with ALESSANDRIA D'EGITTO / POSTE ITALIANE cds alongside.
