    1910/60c.: "Timbres tombés" Collection in black album with covers/cards (44) all showing usages where the adhesive had fallen off in transit, with 1925 cover ex Syria with framed 'Timbre/Tombé/dans/Le Service', 1928 cover ex GB to Brussels with 'Trace De Timbres' marking, 1930 cover from Argentina with framed 'Egaré' (Lost) over missing stamp, 1940 cover from Vienna to Argentina with framed 'Freimarken Abgefallen' cachet, 1940 covers ex Melbourne and Sydney with 'Stamp Fallen Off' cachets, American examples (12) with various types incl. 'Postage Stamp Removed Before Receipt'  and 'Postage Stamp Detached' in violet on 1950 compulsorily registered cover to Jerusalem, 1950 Mauritius cover with two line cachet applied in Nurnberg, 1956 card used in Finland with two line 'Lost' cachet, other covers from Canada with 'Stamp Off' and 'Stamps Fell Off' markings etc. A remarkable collection of seldom seen material.
