    200 reis black, diagonally bisected example used on 1876 entire letter to Rio de Janeiro tied by fine strike of framed RIO DOS OSTRAS handstamp (Ayres 1438) in blackish violet ink pre-paying the internal 100 reis rate. Rio de Janeiro arrival (April 24) on reverse. Some wear and usual minor ageing but a rare and fine entire. Cert. Moorhouse (2013) Scott = $ 1'750.
