    1891: Provisional 2 c. on 4 c. carmine, the study selection with mint varieties: "Surcharge Inverted", "Surcharge Double" and "Surcharge Double, One Inverted", all fresh and fine, repeated examples of the varieties in used condition and a further album page showing the forgeries of these surcharges; also a few further genuine and a rare 2 c. on 38 c. on 9 d. pale violet with "Surcharge Double, One Inverted" variety  Gi = £1'400+.
