    1878 (Jan 16): Mulready envelope facsimilae produced by J. Lacy & Co. (Stamp Dealers of Rotherhithe, with embossed seal on reverse), mailed to Copenhagen, Denmark at 2½ d. rate with 1864/79 1 d. red pl. 194 vertical pair, lettered DI/EI and diagonally bisected single example all tied by London SE 10 duplexes in black with one corner of the bisect folded over the edge of cover but intact. Reverse with Danish Post Office violet adhesive label with five lines of print, instructing the addressee to use a fuller address. Minor ageing mentioned for accuracy only, but a marvellous and most unusual cover for the specialist.
