    Crimean War 1855 (Sept 8): Entire letter from Kamiesch, Crimea to Messrs. Noilly Prat in Marseille ordering truly vast quantities of wines and spirits, struck with framed MER NOIRE in black on front and reverse with French P.O. Constantinople transit (Sept 11) and Marseille (Sept 19) arrival cds. Charged 40 decimes to pay in black on arrival. File fold with slight ageing but a scarce and interesting entire.
