    1858: Coat of Arms, 1 d. deep blue, vertical pair, used on cover, from Iles de Chincha (Chincha Islands) to Lima, dated 9 October 1858, large to very large margins all round, fresh vibrant colour, tied by dotted blue cancel, horizontal filing crease clear of stamps, very attractive and clean cover, cover originates from small Island, scarce. Additionally comes with an 1858 cover franked with horizontal pair 1 d. blue (position 7-8), from Palpa to Lima, with dotted circular 'PALPA' cancel in blue (Lamy 25 points), big margins all round, filing crease not affecting stamps, stained, although fine uncommon cancel.
