    Commemoratives 1948: Baron Ferdinand von Mueller 2½ d. carmine-lake, Imperforate Die Proof in issued colour in sunken grey frame (76 x 90 mm.), the reverse handstamped "C.B.A. / NOTE PRINTING / BRANCH" in violet, numbered '59' and dated '5.10.48' in manuscript, presented to Sir William McKell, Governor General. Slight corner bend to card but rare and fine, just 8 Proofs were struck BW 273DP(1) = $ 3'000.rn
