    Lithographed by Campbell & Fergusson 1854/57: 3 d. deep blue, imperforate, a used horizontal pair tied to 1855 entire letter from Geelong endorsed "p. James Baines" to London (Black Ball Line), tied by "2 / V" oval obliterators in black. Manuscript credit '5d.' in red alongside "AUSTRALIAN / PACKET / PAID / LIVERPOOL" cds (March 6, 1856) in red. Reverse with Geelong despatch (Nov 24) and Melbourne transit. The "James Baines" carried 200 passengers and over 80'000 ounces of gold on this journey.
