    Chalons. Recess by Perkins Bacon 1855 (Aug): 4 d. deep blue, imperforate, wmk. Large Star, a used horizontal pair with close to good margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at right, cancelled by two manuscript "12" imitations of the Brighton numeral obliterator.
