    1844 (Feb 5): Official large part entire from Penrith Court House to Sydney endorsed O.H.M.S. in manuscript, with framed "FREE" handstamp in red. Reverse with oval framed "PENRITH / ♚ / FE 6 / 1844 / NEW S. WALES" datestamp and "♚ / GENERAL POST OFFICE / SYDNEY" arrival (Feb 7) in black. The entire, with part missing internally and some edge wear, being the 'Return of Convicts Tried in a Summary Way' from Penrith Court.rnrnProvenance: Collection Brian Peace, Melbourne, 27 July 2009, lot 1121.
