    1850: 3 d. yellow-green on soft yellowish wove paper (position 19) with "No Whip" variety, a used example of resonant colour with large margins all round paying Ship Letter charge, on 1852 cover from Sydney to Launceston via Hobart endorsed "pr. Water Lilly", tied by light strike of barred obliterator in black. Circular "SHIP LETTER / ♚ / SYDNEY" datestamp at left (April 17) in red. Reverse with framed "SHIP LETTER" (May 7) in black and LAUNCESTON arrival cds (May 8) in black, where charged "5d." due in manuscript for an incoming Ship Letter. Central file fold.
