    Blue Granite paper 1886/87: 2 d. violet on granite, perf. 11½, a used example (13 OCT 86) on 1886 cover to Cape Town, tied by circular "POST. KANTOOR. NIEUWE REPUBLIEK Z.A. / VRYHEID" double circle handstamp in red, in combination with Transvaal 1885 2 d. brown-purple (Gi 177) tied by "UTRECHT / ZAR / ZUID AFRIKA" cds in violet (Nov 26).
