Tati Concessions 1895: De La Rue Elephant Essay for the proposed 2 s. 6 d. value, hand-painted on card in gold and bright blue with the legends picked out in Chinese white, dated at top in manuscript ink "Oct 15, 95". Unaccepted design ex De La Rue archives, illustrated in the "De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on 6293.
