First Issue, overprinted in lower case 1885/87: Cape 2 d. pale bistre, a used example on 1887 cover to the Registrar of the Mines Office in Kimberley, tied by "555" numeral obliterator with corresponding "VRYBURG / BECHUANALAND" cds at left (Nov 4) in black. Reverse with "Kimberley" arrival cds (Nov 6, code M) in black. The cover trimmed at base but a scarce and attractive first issue usage.Starting bid : 300 CHFHammer price : 500 CHF -
