    Departmental Stamps 1870: Overprinted "P.O." (Post Office) in black on 4 d. dull purple, perf. 11½, a fine used example cancelled at the GPO / Adelaide (1 Sept 1870) on First Day of Issue, variety "Printed Both Sides" - just three examples, all with the same centering are recorded showing this second impression on reverse.
