    Airmail 1919 (July 14): Military Flight cover from Constantinople to Bordeaux franked by France Sower 25 c. blue (5) tied by framed handstamp "ARMÉES ALLIÉS EN ORIENT / POSTE AÉRIÈNNE" struck in black with "Tresor et Postes / 506" cds below (July 14). Reseal Censor tape and oval "Contrôle / Par l'Authorité Militaire" on reverse. The second date for carriage of civilian mail by this service. Reseal tape lifted to show adhesives but intact. Scarce. Ex collection Sassower.
