1886 (April): New Dies. 2 c. purple on lilac, perf. 13½, a used single example and a horizontal strip of three, with New Die 1 c. scarlet on yellowish verrtical pair; on single rate 1886 cover to Paris endorsed "per Royal Mail Str. via Jacmel", tied by "Port au Prince / Haiti" circular datestamps (May 25) in black. Seal removed on reverse alongside Paris arrival (June 13) cds.
