King of Egypt & Sudan, 2 m. orange-red, a horizontal strip of five, variety "Overprint Double", used on 1952 cover to Alexandria tied by "Qanâtir el Khairia / Cash" cds (Dec 13) in black. Believed by specialists to be the sole known used examples of this error of which just one pane of 100 stamps were found. Unique. Cert. Hass (2008) Nile Post D174a = $ 1'000+.
