    British East Africa Protectorate 1896/1901: 7½ a. mauve and India 2 a. 6 p. yellow-green overprinted, used on 1896 cover to Kent tied by MOMBASA squared circle datestamp in black (Dec 1): Reverse with "Tonbridge Station Office" cds of arrival (Dec 26). File fold and some minor envelope imperfections but a rare mixed issue commercial franking, the cover mailed by Judge R.B.
