    1860: 20 c. 'azzuro grigio', a fine and fresh adhesive with good to large margins, well embossed, cancelled in black manuscript "Fontanella / li 17.10.1860" (Sassone BG = 11 punti) on cover directed to Ponte S. Pietro. Reverse with another manuscript transit note "Bottanuco / 18/10 1860" as well as MILANO-DESENZANO ambulant and VERBANO transit (Oct 18) cds's. Part of adressed erased but restored, a most interesting cover showing two provisional manuscripts prior to the delivery of datestamps. Signed A. Diena; cert. E. Diena (1989) Sassone = € 900 + 3'250.
