    Issued at Old Calabar 1893 (Dec): 'HALF / PENNY' in green on Great Britain 2½ d. purple on blue, an unused se-tenant horizontal strip of three, with first and third stamps Gibbons Type 9 handstamped surcharge in green and central stamp surcharged Type 9 in vermilion, of fresh vibrant colour and extremely fine, with merest trace of speckles from red blotting paper utilised to store the stamps on large part og.
