    1876: Colour Trials for the 4 d. plate 15, all printed on thin watermarked Large Garter paper, Imperforate, with 7 single examples in pale sage-green (lettered HH), sheet marginal example in grey-green (HA), grey-lilac (TJ), sheet marginal example in pale brown (NA), chestnut (NA), pale red-brown (BK), pale olive-bistre (MC) and turquoise blue in a horizontal pair (DC-DD), a fresh and very fine group all with good even margins, one or two with typical minor bends, large part or unmounted og. Scarce assembly in all of the eight different colours recorded Gi = £ 2'250.
