    1841: 1 d. red-brown on blued, plate 21, lettered KF, a used example, large margins all round, used on 1842 cover from Goole to Doncaster neatly cancelled by Maltese Cross struck in blue / black. Blue GOOLE double arc on reverse in corresponding colour to the Maltese Cross. Fine and most unusual.
