    1865 (2.Feb.): 20c on 15c blue "FERRO DI CAVALLO" type III, block of four as 80c rate franking for letter from LIVORNO to FLORENCE. The stamps are tied to the letter by the dotted numeral cancel "14" from LIVORNO, an arrival FIRENZE from the same day is on the reverse. There is minor patina but overall this exceptional letter is of very fine quality. Certificates Raybaudi (1982) and E. Diena (1987).
