    1859 (27. Aug.): 40c. scarlet, and 20c. blue, two stamps "Vittorio Emanuele II", both just touched but otherwise fine, tied to fragment by "PARMA" cds. dated 27. August 1859, the first day of the second period of use of the Sardinian stamps during the provisional goverment period. Exceptionally rare used on the first day of the second period.
