    1855 (27. Aug.) : 10c. black on white paper, vertical marginal strip of three with good margins all round on letter from PIACENZA to GENVOA. The strip is tied by two strikes of the PIACENZA double circle in black ink. A red PD is on the front. On the reverse a black arrival mark GENOVA is dated 30. Aug. A most attractive letter signed E. Diena.
