    Canal Zone 1916: 2 c. black & carmine overprinted postal stationery envelope with CANAL ZONE in black, diagonally overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red with file print order number "F4867" at top left also in red. Two security punch-holes, sold together with original American Bank Note Co. index card. Rare and very fine. Ex collection Gibbs and the Brian Moorhouse estate.
