    1884 (April 1): £ 1 brown-lilac, wmk. Crowns, lettered JC, a well centred used example from platze 2 showing "Frame Broken" variety lightly cancelled in black leaving the three of the breaks clear. Small imperfections with ironed vertical crease not affecting the appearance, a fine example of a very rare stamp Gi K15a = £ 5'000.
