    1901: Cover from Birganj to Kathmandu bearing correct postage of 1898 1 a. blue imperf. tied by circular BIRGANJ negative handstamp (Hepper page 10, fig. 5) in black. Indian handstruck POSTAGE DUE / 1 ANNA in black at left applied as the cover transmitted through Raxaul and thus India treated the item as unpaid. Reverse with British P.O.
